We wanted to create a modern take on the 1700's French Revolution period of endulgence and opulence. We took influences from Marie Antoinette and Boroque design, and put a modern edgy vibe on it, which created this intense, dramatic collection. We designed the campaign with a combination of Art Decco, and the roaring 20's inspiration with a modern attitude. The purpose of the campaign this year was to celebrate the art, and the artists involved in the industry. This campaign was the finale showcase that would close out the event forever. We created a retro futurism concept that took the viewer on a journey through past campaigns, as if seen by a human surrogate within a matrix-like pod.
